A body has been found during the search for a missing 66-year-old man named Bob from Corwen, North Wales Police confirmed.
Searches Underway
Bob was reported missing from the north Wales town on Sunday. He was last seen at around 6:30am that day. On Tuesday, officers expressed concern for his welfare and began extensive searches.
Body Discovered
On Wednesday, the force said officers and the mountain rescue team had found a body as part of the search. Formal identification is yet to take place, but Bob's family have been informed.
District Inspector Joseph Dunn said: “Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, the family and Coroner have been informed. I would like to express my thanks to colleagues from partner agencies and members of the local community for their assistance over the last few days. This is the outcome none of us were hoping for and our thoughts are with Bob’s family at this difficult time.”
