Birmingham Road Cordoned Near School After Overnight Incident

St Saviour's Road in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham was cordoned off by police after an overnight incident that drew a significant emergency response. Multiple police cars and an ambulance were spotted at the scene late on Tuesday night, with social media videos posted around 1am showing the activity.

Emergency Response and Cordon

Videos on social media allegedly show a large emergency service presence, including multiple police vehicles and an ambulance. Residents were seen watching the operation. Neighbours also reported witnessing drones flying overhead at roughly 1:15am, though it is unclear if the drones were related to the incident.

By 3am, the emergency presence had been significantly scaled back, with only two officers remaining at the scene. A police cordon was still in place on St Saviour's Road at that time.
