Bee Network bus drives wrong way on M67 into oncoming traffic

An investigation has been launched after a Bee Network double decker bus was seen driving on the wrong side of the M67 towards oncoming traffic in Greater Manchester.

Incident on the M67

The bus was spotted travelling westbound and joining the eastbound carriageway of the M67 at the Hattersley Roundabout at around 5.45am this morning. Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has confirmed there was an incident involving a Bee Network bus facing oncoming traffic on the Tameside motorway.

Fortunately, no passengers were on board the bus at the time of the incident.
