Baby, 7 Months, Falls from Window in Bury; Woman Arrested

A woman has been arrested following an incident in which a seven-month-old baby girl reportedly fell from a window on a quiet residential street in Greater Manchester. Emergency services were dispatched to Gloucester Avenue in Whitefield, Bury, on Monday evening. An air ambulance was seen landing at nearby Victoria Park, off Bury New Road.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the infant was taken to hospital, and a woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect. The relationship between the woman and the baby, as well as her age, remains undisclosed at this time.

Authorities responded to reports of a baby falling from a window. Fortunately, the infant's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The investigation is ongoing.
