Armed police descended on a street in Walton after a teenager was reportedly threatened with a “gun”. Merseyside Police were called at around 5.50pm this evening (Saturday, August 22) to a house in Broadway in Walton.
Teenager threatened and bike stolen
It followed reports that an 18-year-old boy was threatened by other males and had his bike taken from him. It was also reported that the suspects were in possession of a gun.
Due to the serious nature of the report, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said armed officers attended and surrounded a house on Philbeach Road. Police confirmed to the ECHO that officers have since stood down, but enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.
