A large fight in Truro on Monday prompted a significant police response, including armed officers. Devon and Cornwall Police were called at around 1.45pm on August 24 to an incident involving a number of people and a bladed article in Calenick Street.
Three men injured in incident
Three people were reportedly hurt in the incident. Two men sustained minor injuries, while another suffered a potentially serious injury, police said. A cordon was set up at the scene.
Two arrests made
Two men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and they remain in police custody. The force said those involved are believed to be known to each other, and there is no wider threat to the public.
Police appeal for witnesses
Police noted that footage of the incident is circulating on social media and are appealing for witnesses and videos.
