Appeal for wanted man after children reported missing

Police are asking the public for help in tracing a wanted man after his two children went missing. Kibriya Ahmed is wanted for breaching his non-molestation order in connection with the case.

Ahmed, 42, is subject to an order preventing him from having unsupervised contact with the 12-year-old and 15-year-old, who were reported missing from Liversidge, Kirklees in West Yorkshire. The father has connections to Rochdale and Manchester.

Children Reported Missing

Yousaf and Mohammed were both reported missing on Saturday (24 October). Yousaf, 15, is described as 5ft 11ins, of medium build with short black hair and black facial hair. Mohammed, 12, is described as 4ft 9ins, of slim build with short black hair and glasses.

Officers believe Ahmed may know the whereabouts of his two children and have conducted extensive arrest enquiries to try and locate him, but are now appealing for the public's help.
