Merseyside Police have issued an appeal after a man climbed through the window of a city centre flat and stole a number of items, including a television.
The burglary occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, July 28, at a flat on Fazakerley Street in Liverpool city centre. Two suspects were seen approaching the property between 2.50am and 4am, with one man then climbing through the window.
During the break-in, several items were taken, including a television and a limited edition USSR Casio watch.
CCTV images released
Police have now shared CCTV images of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.
Detective Inspector Lee Egerton said: "We believe that the man pictured could further assist this ongoing investigation, so if you know him please come forward as soon as possible. To steal from someone’s home where they should feel safe is a serious crime and can have a significant impact on them and the community you live in. We are determined to thoroughly investigate all such incidents so that our city is a safer place to live."
He added: "Therefore I would also appeal to anyone who was on Fazakerley Street early that morning on Tuesday July 28 and saw what happened or has any information to contact us so we continue our investigation."
