Twelve people have been arrested in connection with the devastating A66 collision which killed seven people, including two police officers, as detectives probe a possible criminal gang connection.
Arrests made in probe
Nine men and three women, aged between 19 and 61, have been arrested as part of an investigation into the events leading up to the crash.
