British Transport Police (BTP) have appealed for witnesses following an attempted sexual assault on board a train in south London.
Incident details
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Tuesday July 28 on a train between City Thameslink and London Bridge. A man on a mobility scooter attempted to sexually assault a woman, before two witnesses challenged the man and alerted the victim.
Appeal for information
BTP officers have now identified the attacker, and have appealed for the two witnesses or anyone else who may have seen what happened to come forward and assist their investigation. The man is described as white, in his late 50s, and was wearing a black hat and jacket.
