A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery of cocaine worth more than £1.6 million in Moodiesburn.
On Tuesday, July 21, officers executed a warrant on Gartmill Crescent. Cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,680,000 was recovered.
The man is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court.

Detective Sergeant Lee Graham said: “This recovery highlights our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are determined to protect the public by preventing their distribution.
