Coatbridge Fire-Raising: Police Appeal for Information

Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising incident at a premises in Coatbridge. The fire occurred around 4pm on Saturday, July 11, at a yard on Gartgill Road. No injuries were reported, but the property and a number of cars within were damaged. The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV

Detective Constable Waddell said: “Luckily, no one was injured as a result, but the property has been left with considerable damage. I am appealing to anyone who has information on the fire or was in the area around the time and witnessed anything suspicious to please get in touch with officers. I’d also ask that those local to the area review their private CCTV or dash-cam footage to see if they have captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
