Police have said they are making inquiries after Nigel Farage reported a social media post by the film director Roman Polanski for allegedly inciting hatred.

Farage, the former Ukip leader and GB News presenter, said he had reported the post to the police. He did not specify the content of the post, but said it was 'clearly designed to incite hatred'.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: 'We have received a report of an offence and are making inquiries.'
