Lottery organisers are searching for a mystery winner who has yet to claim a £7,440,150 prize. The winning ticket was purchased in the Midlands, and the draw took place on June 18.
Camelot, the National Lottery operator, is urging residents in the area to check their tickets. They will host an event at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton tomorrow to raise awareness.
The unclaimed jackpot comes amid a series of major lottery wins in the UK. Last week, a EuroMillions player won £54,957,242.50, while an anonymous winner claimed £109 million in February.
The biggest winners so far this year are Joe and Jess Thwaites from Cheltenham, who won a record-breaking £184 million in May.
