Two men have been arrested following a police raid in Crosby where officers discovered suspected drugs inside an Asda bag for life. Merseyside Police executed a warrant at a property on Radburn Road on Friday, June 5, seizing a large quantity of suspected cannabis, nitrous oxide, cash, and five scrambler bikes.
Details of the Arrests
The two suspects, aged 39 and 18, both from Crosby, were detained and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B and class C drugs, possession of cocaine, and handling stolen goods. They were taken to police stations for questioning and have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries, according to the force.
Police Statement
Detective Chief Inspector David Jones commented on the operation: "This is an ongoing investigation but it is extremely pleasing to have identified and removed suspected drugs and scrambler bikes from circulation. We see on a daily basis the harm that both issues cause in our communities, and we’re determined to keep responding to information where we can take positive action."
