Megyn Kelly Mocks Grammy Winner Shaboozey Over Immigrant Speech

Megyn Kelly has criticised Grammy winner Shaboozey for his political speech at the awards, telling the country music star to 'sing for me, b****!' and dismissing his views on immigration.

During her SiriusXM show, Kelly targeted Shaboozey, real name Collins Obinna Chibueze, after he declared that 'immigrants built this country' while accepting the Grammy for best country duo. Kelly said she appreciates his music but does not care about his political opinions.

'The only one who I knew was Shaboozey, whose music I like,' she said. 'He will sing for me, b****. He will sing. Do it now: play, that's it.'

Kelly also suggested Shaboozey 'sounds like a man who might need a 30-day in-house treatment program', and called his immigration remarks 'freaking dishonest'. She argued that legal immigrants are not bothered, but illegal immigrants 'need to get the F out'.

Shaboozey later apologised on social media for his speech, acknowledging that 'Foundational Black Americans built this country' and that his words were not meant to erase that truth.
