Woman's blood runs cold after reading 'creepy' note on car

A woman has described the moment she found a note on her car at a grocery store, which she said made her blood run cold and left her fearing for her safety. The unnamed woman shared her experience on Reddit, where she recounted the contents of the message.

The note read: "You are so pretty. Text me if interested", followed by a phone number. The woman, who identified herself as a 23-year-old female, said her mind immediately went to the worst possible scenarios.

Panic and Fear After Discovery

She explained that she had gone to the grocery store to pick up a few items, and when she returned to her car and started to pull out, she noticed the note on her windshield. She immediately panicked and called her boyfriend and best friend, scared out of her mind.

"I left the area right away and drove home, constantly checking my mirrors to make sure no one was following me. This was incredibly stressful and frightening," she wrote. "I wish people would think before they act. Stay safe out there, everyone - it's a creepy world we live in."

Reddit Users React with Sympathy and Caution

Many commenters expressed sympathy for the woman and urged her to take precautions. One said: "I agree that it's creepy. Please be aware of your surroundings for the time being, and let somebody know where you're going and what time you'll be back. Please up your safety precautions."

Another added: "You're not overreacting and this is indeed creepy. I don't even get the point of this. If you have no way of knowing who left the note, why on Earth would you ever text or call that number?"

A third commented: "So creepy. I'm sorry that happened to you. As someone else has mentioned, this could have been a harmless way of shooting his shot, but it would make me feel uncomfortable as well."

Mixed Views on the Note's Intent

Some commenters suggested the note might have been left by someone who was simply "shy", but the majority appeared to share the woman's concerns. The incident left her deeply unsettled, as she had no way of knowing whether she was being followed.

This is not the first time such a note has been reported. Previously, a different woman claimed to have found an eerie letter attached to her vehicle as well.
