British Transport Police have released an image of a man they believe may have information about a racial abuse incident on a train in Merseyside. The incident occurred around 8pm on Saturday, August 1, when a man reportedly racially abused another man on a train service travelling between Liverpool Central and Hooton.
Incident details
The man then got off the train at Green Lane station, the force said. The incident was reported to British Transport Police, which has now released a picture of a man they believe may have information that could assist their investigation.
Appeal for information
Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 826 of August 1. Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
