British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are seeking following a sexual assault on a Docklands Light Railway train. The incident occurred on Friday, May 29, at approximately 10:30 pm when a woman was targeted on the platform at Canary Wharf station.
Details of the Assault
According to police, the man began sexually harassing the victim on the platform before boarding the train and sitting next to her. When the woman attempted to move away, he grabbed her and sexually assaulted her, refusing to let go. The assault only ended when two other passengers intervened, prompting the man to release her and alight at King George V station.
Police Appeal for Information
Authorities believe the man in the released image may have crucial information to assist their investigation. They urge anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
