The incident, which shattered the peace of a residential street in Cheshire, saw Andrew Roache, 53, launch a vicious and fatal attack on his former partner, Julie Green. The assault was so brutal that the sounds of the struggle were clearly picked up by the family's Ring doorbell system.
A Digital Witness to a Heinous Crime
Ms. Green's daughter, Billie-Leigh Green, was going about her day when a notification from the Ring app lit up her phone. What she heard next was the stuff of nightmares. Instead of a routine alert, the live audio feed transmitted the unmistakable and terrifying sounds of a violent assault taking place inside her mother's home.
"I heard my mum's murderer smash into her home," Billie-Leigh stated, her words heavy with the weight of the memory. The digital device, intended for security and peace of mind, became an unwilling witness to a horrific crime, capturing audio evidence that would later prove crucial.
A Life Cut Short in a Brutal Attack
