A 26-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the death of a mother in Moss Side.
Tayah Moodie, from Moss Side, has been charged with murder and was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on November 6.
Charge Relates to Death of Yvonne Kemp
The charge relates to the death of Yvonne Kemp following a disturbance at an address on Crondall Street, Manchester, shortly before 1.30pm on Monday 19 October 2026.
In the days following her death, Yvonne's family issued a tribute and released a photo of her alongside her partner, Tom Grant.
Family Tribute
They said: "Yvonne was a much-loved mum, Nana, sister and auntie, known for her caring heart, strength and kindness. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself.
"She leaves behind a family who love her dearly and memories that will be cherished forever. Yvonne will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her."
