A murder investigation has been launched after a 23-year-old woman was found dead at a residential address in Islington, north London. Six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail.

The Metropolitan Police were called at 9.33am on Thursday following concerns for the woman's welfare at a property on Bollinder Place. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and found the woman unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene despite medical efforts.
At the scene, officers arrested four women aged 20, 21, 23, and 26, and two men aged 21 and 24, all on suspicion of murder. They have since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Police appeal
Efforts are ongoing to trace the woman's next of kin. Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart, who leads local policing, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young woman who has lost her life." He added that local officers will remain visible and available to speak with residents.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, leading the investigation, said: "Our investigation is progressing at pace and detectives are working to establish exactly what happened in the time leading up to this woman's death." He urged anyone with information to come forward.
