Two Stabbed at Birmingham Music Festival

Two men were stabbed at a music festival in Birmingham on Saturday evening, prompting police to launch an investigation. The incident occurred at the Cru2 event held at Luna Springs on Lower Trinity Street in Digbeth shortly after 7pm.

Police Statement

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Lower Trinity Street, shortly before 7pm last night to reports two men had been stabbed and taken to hospital. Both men’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Officers remain in the area and at the scene while an investigation takes place to understand exactly what happened and find those responsible.”

Attendees at the festival were asked to leave mid-performance as emergency services arrived. The venue, Luna Springs, is a popular outdoor events space in the Digbeth area of Birmingham. Police have not yet made any arrests, and inquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police.
