Two men have died after being found seriously injured at a flat in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to Chancellor Street in Partick at 4.40pm on Sunday, August 16, where the men, aged 50 and 54, were discovered.
Deaths treated as unexplained
Paramedics attended the address, but both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained, and post-mortem examinations will be carried out in due course. Their families have been informed, and inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
Police appeal for information
Detective Chief Inspector Jen McCulloch said: "Our thoughts remain with the families of the two men who have died, and they are being supported at this difficult time." She added: "We understand this will be concerning for the local community but please be assured we are working hard to establish the full circumstances of what has happened."
Officers will remain in the area while the investigation continues, and anyone with any concerns or information can approach them. Police have asked anyone with information to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1386 of Sunday, 16 August, 2026.
