Two men have been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in east London that left a man fighting for his life. The incident occurred during a large fight in Barking on Saturday night.
Incident Details
Police were called to reports of a large fight at around 11:20 pm on Saturday, June 6. Upon arrival, officers found three people injured at the scene. They were all taken to the hospital, where a 22-year-old man remains in a critical condition. The other two men were later discharged and subsequently arrested.
Charges Filed
On Monday, Jamario Morgan, 23, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife. Arran Bailey, 28, was charged with attempted murder and battery. Both have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday, July 6.
Police Appeal
Chief Inspector Mo Mahmood stated: “Our thoughts remain with the critically injured man and his family. There are a number of other individuals we believe may have been involved in the incident that preceded the stabbings who are yet to be identified. Because of this, we continue to urge any witnesses to come forward.”
