The court heard that Franklin subjected the complainant, now in his 40s, to repeated sexual activity when he was between nine and 12 years old. During one encounter, she tied him to her bed and blindfolded him. On another occasion, she called out her husband’s name during a sex act.
Franklin, from Radlett, Hertfordshire, taught at a preparatory school at the time of the offences. She denied all charges and claimed she could not remember tutoring the boy. She showed no emotion in the dock as the verdicts were read.
