The remains of 38-year-old Elizabeth Jane Ross were discovered by a homeless man in an abandoned building on Evelpidon Street in Athens on July 18. The rough sleeper followed a foul smell inside the deserted building and saw a human limb from a suitcase.

Paul Easdon, 38, received a three-year extension to his sentence for his role in a £300,000 cocaine deal. He was caught after a police probe. His associate Declan Price, 29, was stopped with taped blocks of cocaine.
