Police Appeal for Missing Lanarkshire Man Stuart Kerr, 53

Police in Lanarkshire are continuing their appeal for information to help trace missing man Stuart Kerr, as fears for his safety grow. The 53-year-old was last seen on Glasgow Road leaving Chapleton and heading towards Strathaven on foot at 7.06pm on Tuesday, June 30.

Description and Circumstances

Stuart is described as white, 6ft 1 inch tall, with a slim build and short brown hair with grey flecks. He was last seen wearing grey trousers and a black puffer jacket, and was carrying a closed golf umbrella. Police have released CCTV images of Stuart in the hope that someone may recognise him.

Police Statement

Inspector Caroline Brennan said: “It is out of character for Stuart not to be in contact with his family and as time passes concerns are growing. I am appealing to anyone who has seen Stuart or a man matching his description to get in touch. I would also ask anyone in the area at the time who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage that could assist to contact us.”
