A coroner has been unable to determine the cause of death of reality TV star Jake Hall, who appeared on The Only Way Is Essex. The 35-year-old was found dead with head injuries at a holiday villa in Mallorca on May 6, following a collision with a glass door, East London Coroner’s Court was told on Tuesday.
Inquest Details
The inquest heard that Hall’s body was repatriated to the UK, but a post-mortem examination at East Ham Mortuary could not establish the cause of death. Area coroner Nadia Persaud has requested Spanish authorities provide copies of the toxicology report, police reports, and witness statements. She also designated Hall’s family members as “interested persons,” allowing them to question evidence or witnesses at a future inquest.
Family and Tributes
Hall leaves behind an eight-year-old daughter, River, with Albanian model and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Misse Beqiri, 39. Beqiri previously posted a tribute on social media, stating her heart was “shattered” and that she loved him from “the very first moment I saw you.” Tributes have also come from Hall’s ex-girlfriend and former TOWIE co-star Chloe Lewis, who described him as “such a massive and special part of my life.” The pair dated in their teens and were known for their on-off relationship on the show, which ended in 2016. Celebrity DJ Fat Tony also paid tribute, noting the “incredible turn out of love” at Hall’s funeral.
Next Steps
A provisional inquest date has been set for December 7, 2026.
