Police have launched a murder investigation after a 50-year-old man was found dead at a property in Bolton.
Officers were called to an address on Gray Street on June 30, where they found the man with serious head and chest injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
New information leads to murder probe
Greater Manchester Police said new information emerged during the investigation, and following a post-mortem, a murder probe was launched. A 15-year-old boy has been detained under the Mental Health Act and will be questioned in due course.
