Greater Manchester Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted burglary in Moston. The incident occurred on Carron Avenue on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Investigation Ongoing
Officers were called to the scene following reports of an attempted burglary. An investigation has been underway in the days since. On Friday evening, GMP released an image of a man who may have important information about the case.
A GMP Manchester North spokesperson said: "Officers would like to speak with the man pictured as they believe he could help with an ongoing investigation. We were called to reports of an attempted burglary at an address on Carron Avenue in Manchester on Wednesday, July 1 2026."
Appeal for Information
Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or has any information to come forward. The spokesperson added: "Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or via https://orlo.uk/lL7xm, quoting crime reference CRI/06A1/0013303/26. Alternatively, the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
