Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of 18-year-old Ceiran Evans, who died in a traffic collision in Gorseinon in July this year.
Elliot Truelove, aged 33, of West Cross, Swansea, and 18-year-old Liam Thomas, of Morriston, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday charged with murder and attempted murder. No pleas were entered during the brief hearing.
Ceiran Evans died in a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Pen Cae Crwn Road on July 9. Another person was seriously injured in the incident.
Family tribute and previous charge
Following his death, his family said the teenager was "loved more than any words can say".
Tyler Ford, aged 18, of Morriston, has previously appeared in court charged with murder and attempted murder in relation to the same incident.
Trial date and custody
A plea and trial preparation hearing for all three defendants was set for September 29. A provisional trial date has been set for January 11 next year, and Matthew Roberts KC for the prosecution said with three defendants the trial may last five weeks.
Truelove and Thomas were further remanded into custody until the next hearing.
