A 21-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed during a violent brawl in Trafford on Saturday night. The incident occurred on Moorside Road, near the junction with Brook Road in the Flixton area, at approximately 11:30 PM on July 18, 2026.
Police Response and Victim Condition
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) responded to reports of a 'disturbance' involving a group of men fighting. Officers found the victim with stab wounds at the scene. Paramedics transported him to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition, according to a GMP spokesperson.
Investigation Launched
No arrests have been made as of yet. GMP has launched an investigation to identify those responsible. Detective Inspector Karl Perry of Trafford CID stated, 'I understand the concern incidents like this cause to our local community, and I would like to reassure residents that our investigation is working at pace to identify those responsible.'
Eyewitnesses reported a large police and paramedic presence in the area into the early hours of Sunday morning. Authorities are urging anyone with information or footage to come forward.
