Emergency services rushed to Dallas Drive in Kirkcaldy, Fife, on Wednesday morning after a report of concern for a man. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigation underway
Police Scotland received the report at around 8.40am on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Officers attended alongside the Scottish Ambulance Service, but the man was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. His age has not yet been released.
The death is being treated as unexplained, and a probe is underway to establish the full circumstances. Footage from the scene shows at least one marked police car, two marked police vans, and an ambulance parked on the drive, with uniformed officers walking in the area beside houses and a block of flats.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.40am on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, we received a report of concern for a man in Dallas Drive, Kirkcaldy. Officers attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing."
