A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Salford. Greater Manchester Police says officers were called out to reports of a disturbance in Kempster Gardens, Lower Broughton, at 5.19am on Wednesday, August 12.
A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. He is yet to be named publicly.
Charge and remand
In a statement issued this morning (August 28), GMP confirmed that a 37-year-old man had been charged with murder in connection with the incident. Gabriel Joao Gurney Sacutti, of Bridge Road, Coalville, Leicestershire, has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court later today.
Police statement
A GMP spokesperson said: "Gabriel Joao Gurney Sacutti of Bridge Road, Coalville, has been charged with murder.
"He has been remanded in custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Friday, August 28 2026). This charge relates to an incident on Wednesday, August 12 2026 where we were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Kempster Gardens in Salford."
