A man has been charged after an incident in which two people were taken to hospital following a fall from a window in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Incident details
Emergency services were called to an address on Llys Catwg in Talbot Green on Sunday, August 2. Two people were believed to have fallen from a first-floor window of the property and were taken to hospital.
A police spokesman previously said a man had been arrested, while a woman remained in hospital for treatment. South Wales Police has now confirmed the woman has been discharged.
Charges and court appearance
Ceri Jenkins, 27, from Talbot Green, has been charged with Section 18 – wounding with intent and for breaking bail conditions. He is due to appear before Newport Magistrates Court on Monday.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police received a call at 7.20pm on Sunday, August 3 regarding an incident at an address on Llys Catwg, Talbot Green. Ceri Jenkins, 27, from Talbot Green, has been charged with Section 18 - wounding with intent and for breaking bail conditions. He will appear before Newport Magistrates Court today. The woman has now been discharged from hospital."
