An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body at West Kirby Marine Lake, Merseyside.
North Wales Police has issued an appeal to the public as it is believed the man entered the water in the vicinity of Flint Castle.

A force spokesman said: "At 3.50pm on Wednesday, September 16, Merseyside Police were informed by the ambulance service that a male had been found unresponsive on the tidal side of the wall at West Kirby Marine Lake, Merseyside.
"He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene."It is believed he entered the water around the Flint Castle area during the evening of Monday, September 14."
Appeal for witnesses
Detective chief inspector Richard Griffith is urging anyone who may have witnessed what happened to come forward.
He added: "We are aware from CCTV inquiries there were several people walking, cycling, and driving around the area of Flint Castle at the time.
"I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the man between 6pm and 9.30pm on Monday, September 14.
"He was an Asian male, described to be around 5ft 10 tall and of a medium build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, ripped blue jeans, black trainers, and possibly in possession of a crossbody bag.
"I'm also appealing to anyone who might have any pictures, videos, or dashcam around the castle between these times to contact us.
"Your information or images could be crucial in assisting our investigation.
"My thoughts remain with the man's family at this difficult time."
