A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: 'Police received reports from 3:49pm on Thursday that a body had been found in a vehicle parked off Cemetery Road, Bradford. Enquiries into this incident are in their very early stages and at this time the cause of death is being treated as unexplained.'
No further details about the deceased have been released, and police have not confirmed the person's age, gender, or identity. The vehicle was parked in a residential area near the junction with Undercliffe Lane.

The discovery occurred during a period of exceptionally hot weather, with temperatures reaching 29°C in Bradford on Thursday. It is not yet known whether the heat played any role in the death.
