Police are appealing for information after a 40-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Loch Shin in East Kilbride on Friday, July 3. The incident occurred at around 6pm, leaving the victim requiring hospital treatment.
Details of the Assault
Three men were involved in an altercation on the street, resulting in the 40-year-old being seriously assaulted. Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Suspect Descriptions
Police have released descriptions of two male suspects. The first is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, aged between 20 and 30, with a stocky build, short dark hair, a beard, and wearing a beige T-shirt. The second suspect is described as white, around 5ft 7in, aged 20-25, with a slim build, blond hair, and wearing dark-coloured clothing.
Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Constable Meechan said: “Our enquiries have established a green Fiat motor vehicle was seen in the area around the time of the incident and I am appealing for anyone who may have seen it to contact us. If you have dashcam or doorbell recording equipment, please check your footage as it could assist in our investigation. Officers are also continuing to review relevant CCTV images for any additional information on the car and the suspects.”
