A body has been pulled from the water in the search for a man missing from Cumbernauld.
The man was found dead in water close to Forest Road in Cumbernauld this afternoon, Thursday, July 23, at 3.55pm.
Family Informed
The body has not yet been formally identified but the family of Hamish MacVicar, who had been reported missing from the Lanarkshire town, has been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing, however, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Last Seen
Hamish, 46, had last been seen in Cumbernauld's Redburn Road area, around a mile from Forest Road, at 10pm last night, Wednesday, July 22.
At the time, cops had said they were "very concerned" for Hamish's welfare, describing him as "vulnerable".
