
A quiet residential street was plunged into tragedy after a woman died following a collision with a Tesco delivery van, prompting a police investigation and the arrest of the driver.
Emergency Response to Fatal Incident
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a serious collision between a pedestrian and a supermarket delivery vehicle. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the woman was pronounced dead at the location.
A 33-year-old man, understood to be the driver of the Tesco van, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody while investigations continue.
