A devastating incident unfolded outside one of London's busiest transport hubs on Thursday evening, claiming the life of a female pedestrian in a collision with a double-decker bus.
The tragic event occurred near Victoria Station during the evening rush hour, bringing parts of the surrounding area to a standstill as emergency services rushed to the scene.

Metropolitan Police officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and London Fire Brigade personnel responded urgently to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a Route 170 bus. Despite the efforts of paramedics at the scene, the woman was pronounced dead.
