Wizz Air has introduced a new twilight check-in service at London Luton Airport, allowing passengers to drop their luggage the night before their flight. The service, available from Monday, 16 February, operates between 9pm and 2am for flights departing up to 9am the following morning.
The airline becomes the third carrier to offer this option at Luton, following EasyJet and Jet2, who introduced similar services last year. The move comes ahead of a busy February half-term period, with Luton Airport expecting to handle 325,000 passengers during the week.
Popular destinations for the half-term break include Amsterdam, Bologna, Paris, Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Prague and Seville. For those seeking winter sun, Palma de Mallorca, Murcia, Malaga, Lanzarote, Madeira, Antalya and Dalaman are among the top choices.
Wizz Air is also set to launch new routes from Luton to Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia and Seville from March 29. Jet2 will introduce five new routes to Corfu, Kos, Preveza, Skiathos and Menorca from May 21.
