WalesOnline's live blog for Saturday, October 3 is now open, bringing readers the latest news from across Wales and beyond, along with traffic and travel updates.
The blog covers major stories from the UK and overseas, and readers are invited to contribute by posting comments below or tweeting @WalesOnline to share breaking news in their area. A daily newsletter is also available for those who want to read the biggest stories in Wales first.
Morning Start
The breaking news team is on duty to provide updates throughout the day. The blog opened with a morning greeting, signalling the start of coverage for the day.
Updates are being provided by senior reporter Ellie Gosley, who is leading the live coverage.
