A vehicle fire on the M58 has forced the closure of two lanes this afternoon, causing significant traffic delays. The incident was reported by traffic monitoring service Inrix shortly before 3pm on June 16.
Incident Details
The fire is believed to have occurred between junction one at Maghull and junction three at Bickerstaffe. As a result, two lanes have been closed, and traffic is described as very slow in the area. Emergency services are on the scene.
