A tragic head-on collision between a TUI tourist bus and three cars on the holiday island of Lanzarote has left two people dead and several others injured, including a five-year-old boy. The two deceased individuals have been identified as an Italian couple traveling in one of the cars with their eight-year-old child. The couple, believed to be Italian nationals residing in Lanzarote, died at the scene due to the severity of their injuries. The five-year-old boy, who sustained a moderate elbow injury, was transported by a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. Additionally, a 36-year-old bus passenger was among eight people who required medical attention following the crash.

Local police, Civil Guard, paramedics, and firefighters rushed to the scene shortly before 7:45 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision. A minor aged five who at the initial stage of care presented a moderate elbow injury, was transported by a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital."
