Four people were taken to hospital after a tourist bus carrying 34 people overturned in central Norway on Saturday morning. The bus, carrying German tourists, crashed into a ditch on the E6 highway in Namdalen, Trøndelag region.
Crash Details
The vehicle reportedly swerved to the right before running off the road into a grassy verge and flipping onto its side. Emergency services responded to the scene, and two people were rushed to Namsos hospital, while two others were taken to Levanger, where a high alert was sounded to bring in extra personnel.
Response and Aftermath
No one was trapped inside the bus, according to operations manager Siv Mamork. Images from the scene show the bus lying on its side in a ditch with its doors shut and windscreen damaged. Dashcam footage captured the moment the bus veered off the road. A lane was closed as crews cleared the wreckage.
