Since February 28, joint strikes on Iranian sites have led to retaliatory actions, including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for approximately 20% of global oil trade. The US has imposed a blockade on Iranian ports in the strait to pressure negotiations, further destabilising oil markets.
Thai Airways informed ticket agents that alternative arrangements have been prepared for affected passengers.
