Wirral: Borough Road Flyover Closure
Wirral Borough Council has ordered the closure of the Borough Road Flyover (A5227) in Birkenhead from 20 July 2026 for up to 18 months, though works are expected to be completed by 14 August 2026. The alternative route uses A41 Chester Street, A554 Canning Street, and A5030 Argyle Street.

Wirral: Irby Road, Pensby
Irby Road will be closed from its junction with Thingwall Road to its junction with Townshend Avenue from 20 July 2026 until 1 September 2026. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained. The alternative route is via Thingwall Road, Wales Avenue, Pensby Road, and Fishers Lane.
Sefton: Licensing Application for The Fox Den Crosby
