A father and his two young children escaped serious injury after their car overturned in a crash in west London. The incident occurred on Craven Park Road in Harlesden, where the vehicle flipped onto its roof.
The trio managed to exit the car unaided and were taken to hospital by ambulance crews for treatment of minor injuries. Firefighters from Park Royal and Wembley fire stations attended the scene at 3.19pm on Monday.
Park Royal Watch Manager Dave Kelly emphasised the importance of wearing seatbelts, stating: “Despite the car completely flipping over onto its roof the father and two children only had minor injuries thanks to them all wearing seatbelts. As firefighters we have all witnessed serious road traffic collisions where people have been badly injured or killed when they haven’t belted up. It’s important that everyone makes sure they and their children always wear seat belts and drive safely at all times.”
